The Challenge
Karo Kanaltechnik cleans, inspects and renovates drains and pipes and handles emergencies around the clock, from Frauenfeld across the cantons of Zurich, Thurgau, St. Gallen and Appenzell. Two things had to fit together: a website that gets found across this large area and brings in inquiries, and an operation that handles those inquiries without paperwork, from quote to on-site job to paid invoice.
Our Solution
The website offers a page for each service, location pages for towns in four cantons, pages for target groups such as property managers and municipalities, a public pricing page, a multi-step price and inquiry calculator, a glossary and a knowledge section, in German and English. Behind it runs custom business software. The office manages clients, scheduling, quotes and jobs there, and clients can accept quotes online. Invoices go out with a Swiss QR payment slip, and dunning runs in three stages. Technicians see their day and record time, job reports and photos. Clients get a portal with documents per property. An iOS app for use on the road is in progress.
