Redesign, SEO, GEO & Google Ads2026KanalGenie AG

KanalGenie Drain & Pipe Services.

Redesign, SEO, GEO and Google Ads for a drain and pipe technology specialist with sites in Brüttisellen and Geroldswil. It includes a 5-step booking flow, an emergency page and a technical glossary.

The Challenge

KanalGenie cleans, surveys and renovates drains and pipes and is available around the clock for emergencies. Anyone with a blocked pipe searches on their phone and decides in seconds. The website therefore had to build trust instantly, separate emergencies from planned jobs and appear at the top for searches in the Glattal, Unterland and Limmattal regions.

Our Solution

We completely redesigned the website: dark, with a cyan accent and cheeky, clear copy. A dedicated emergency page leads straight to the phone. For planned work there is a five-step booking flow: request, contact channel, date, time and contact details. A magazine and a glossary with technical terms such as spraylining or leak testing cover search queries and give AI search engines citable answers. Google Ads captures urgent searches in the region.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why a booking flow instead of a contact form?+
A booking flow asks in clear steps what the job is, how the customer wants to be contacted and when an appointment suits them. The team receives complete inquiries and does not need to call back to clarify basics. For customers, one step per question is easier than a long form.
How does Google Ads work for emergency services?+
For urgent searches such as "blocked drain", what counts is who appears first and can be reached immediately. Ads target the region and the times of day when the company can respond, and lead straight to the emergency page with the phone number.
