The Sartorialist.

Website, SEO and Shopify shop for The Sartorialist in Zurich: made-to-measure and wedding suits from Italian fabrics plus selected brands in the online shop. We are currently working on the website's second redesign.

The Challenge

The Sartorialist makes made-to-measure and wedding suits from fabrics by mills such as Loro Piana, Vitale Barberis Canonico or Holland & Sherry and carries brands such as Jacob Cohën, Gran Sasso and Paul & Shark. Two buying paths had to come together: the personal appointment for a tailored suit and online purchases of branded goods. Both needed to be found in searches for made-to-measure and wedding suits in Zurich, including by international customers.

Our Solution

We built the multilingual website with dedicated pages for made-to-measure suits, wedding suits, brands and instalment purchases, and optimised it for local search in Zurich. Appointment booking is built in, plus WhatsApp and a contact form. For the branded goods we set up a Shopify shop where customers buy online and can pay in instalments. The website's second redesign is currently under way.

Frequently Asked Questions

Website and shop separate or together?+
The Sartorialist has two buying paths: tailored suits are made in a personal appointment, branded goods are bought online. The website tells the story and leads to the appointment, while the Shopify shop handles cart, payment and instalments. Each system does its job, and both are linked in the same look.
Why a second redesign?+
A website is never finished. After a few years, product range, search behaviour and technical requirements change. The second redesign brings loading speed, the appointment path and the presentation of fabrics and brands up to date, without losing the rankings built up so far.
